Sports Action

| | Comments (8)

Sunday is the day where all ages come together to play sports, serve sandwiches or support their loved ones.
But this Sunday, outside the changerooms, a group of us concentrated on the art of sports photography. We learnt how to freeze people in motion and how to follow the action.

Here are some greatly captured action shots and some 'behind the scenes' of sports day that give us more of the Mingenew flavour.

I love the effect you have captured with the washing on the line, Kate. Fantastic shot!

What wonderful photos - well done everyone! Please keep participating. Nat, your a national treasure!

Hi Mingenew residents.
The sports images are gold!
As a city (Perth) resident one assumes (wrongly) that rural life is somehow less than 'city life'.
Your images total debunk this.
Period.
The candid faces, actions and settings/framing suggest a rich and diverse existence that in so many ways, we as a big city are denied and often blind to.
Keep going and what a great initiative!!
Regards
Steve

I really like Lenas shots from the footy, you get a great feel for whats happening on a personal level off the feild of play. It feels authentically Mingenew. Great work.

So many fantastic shots! Congratulations everyone - an this is only the first week!
