On Friday night a herd of people turned up at the Rec Centre to learn how to take portraits and how to set up lights like a professional photography studio.
Everyone ended up having a go as a model which was beautiful because now we have a stunning collection of portraits of Mingenew residents.

I am jealous! I wish I could do this course - the photos coming out of it are just gems - fantastic! (Go Mum!)
beautiful! Simply gorgeous possums! Especially like the slightly deranged (photo or person) with their tongue poking out - very individual.
Wow Teneale, why would you go to a professional when Kate and Roma did such a good job of capturing you and Stella? I'm impressed with all of the photographers, wish I'd made the effort to attend!
Incredible shots! What an exciting project, unearthing and cultivating local photographers, on a website too! Brilliant photography
Great photos from everyone. Another opportunity missed as I need photography coaching more than most. To know what all the buttons on the camera are for would help. Missed my big chance on Tuesday as I forgot to take my little camera. Special mention of Roma s photo s and also the lovely one of Stella and her mother.
